Which course has better career option and scope from LPU: BCA or Diploma+B.Tech in CS?

The scope depends on your caliber, interest, and passion. Both the courses are equally good. However, I can guide you better for B.Tech CSE. Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. The number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the 'technical' level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). All it depends upon your interest. While BCA gives students a good technology knowledge, it is advisable to complete your MCA to give yourself career wise push. After graduation, a student with a B.Tech degree has greater job opportunities than a student with a BCA. I would advise you to go for B.Tech for complete learning and better industry options. B.Tech will be for 4 years and leads to immediate employability while BCA is three year course but requires MCA at the end...more -
It depends upon your interest. But definitely B.Tech CSE is the most sought after and much more advanced specialisation programme than BCA. Though both the programs are very well delivered I LPU. CSE B.Tech commands much more market value in terms of recruiters and specializations. LPU realizes that paradigm changes are happening around the world. Rapidly changing business landscape requires young leaders to not only understand developing economies but also develop a global perspective at the same time in order to be an integral part of the growth of the economy
