M.Tech will lead you to deeper study and research in your core field of engineering. The career following M.Tech will be more oriented towards teaching, research and consulting. MBA will lead you to gaining management skills in whichever specialisation you do. The career following MBA will be more towards techno-management roles, more into corporate and entrepreneurship.
