There are ample job opportunities after both the programs. You must first check your interests, aptitude, hobbies, attitude, bent of mind and ASPIRATIONS before taking a plunge into any of these. M.Tech will lead you to deeper study and research in your core field of engineering. The career following M.Tech will be more oriented towards teaching, research and consulting. MBA will lead you to gaining management skills in whichever specialisation you do. The career following MBA will be more towards techno-management roles, more into corporate and entrepreneurship. So it is your choice!

It totally depends on you if you want to be a little managerial as well as a little technical then you can go for MBA, as doing MBA would provide you with a plethora of opportunities ahead. So, it totally depends on how you want your life ahead.

I think if you are really good with your technicals, then you should go for M.Tech and prepare for it. Also, if you think that you are quite good at aptitude and reasoning then you can try for MBA also.

It depends on where you wish to see yourself after the completion of the course. If you have more of a technology mindedness and feel you can contribute more to the world of technology, then M Tech is for you. New generation courses include M Tech in Nanotechnology, Robotics and so on. If you are desirous of climbing the corporate ladder and believe you can be better at a management level, then MBA may be a good choice.
