Deciding which course to pursue is in itself a tough decision for students. If you are wondering B.Com vs BBA which is better, then this question is actually subjected to personal choices, goals and career prospects of a particular stream of interest. Both the degrees expose you to different curriculum and open up multiple career avenues to you. Both of the degrees have their own different and independent course and curriculum. B.Com or Bachelor Of Commerce is an undergraduate degree in the field of commerce. The course is basically designed for students who are good with numbers. BBA or Bachelor of Business Administration is a Bachelo

If you have the mind of an accountant, then B.Com will suffice, your higher education opportunities might include M.Com and MBA apart from other courses. If you have a business mind, BBA will do, but If your destination is an MBA any degree will do.

BBA is a more business specific course where you are somehow trained to become an entrepreneur, whereas, B.Com is a financial management course. You learn more about accountancy, maths and finance management. So, it depends on which field interests you more. Top colleges for BBA in India are:
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi
    Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar
    Barkatullah University, Bhopal
    University Of Lucknow, Lucknow
UPES, Dehradun - This college has a lot of further specialisations in BBA which you can go for. Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Research, Pune
    Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.

    Hello Daljinder,
B.Com is more inclined towards accounts, taxation and it is preferable to opt for CA or higher studies M.Com to get a desirable job where BBA is business administration and will be focused more on business related topics. A decent job can be grabbed if you have done BBA from a recognised institute, though MBA would again be necessary for a desirable job.

    Hello Daljinder,
According to the best of my knowledge, I would like to suggest you that both BBA and B.Com have their own merits. It depends entirely on your interest before choosing either of the courses.
If making a career in management is your priority, then you should go for BBA as it is the foundation of management and has been specifically designed for MBA aspirants.
B.Com, on the other hand, is much more diversified and has a wider scope for specialisation for post-graduate study.
Thus, it is advisable to first chalk out your skills, aptitude and area of interest before taking up any of the courses. Instead of looking at the mo

BBA is better, if you are directly looking for a job after graduation. Otherwise, B.Com too has a good scope, as you can go for CA and MBA. Doon Business School, Dehradun is a renowned college for BBA studies. It offers SAP and Six Sigma courses too.

    Hello Daljinder,
Career prospects: After BBA, one can find job opportunities in marketing and sales division in corporate sectors or as a management trainee. If one follows up his BBA with an MBA degree from a reputed institute then they have a chance to increase their job prospects along with high salary package.
I hope this will help you. Thank you.
