    Hi,

B.Sc. in Design (Fashion) focuses more on the technical aspects of fashion, such as fabric science, garment construction, and textile technology. It prepares you for roles in fashion merchandising, garment production, and technical design.

On the other hand, B.Design in Fashion emphasizes creative design, fashion illustration, and conceptualization of collections. It's ideal for those interested in fashion aesthetics, trend forecasting, and brand development.

If you want a technical, industry-driven career, B.Sc. in Design (Fashion) is the better choice. For a more creative, artistic path, B.Design in Fashion would suit you better. Bo

    Hello there.

Both the B.Sc in Design (Fashion) and the B.Des in Fashion programs at LPU provide students with distinct options, and the choice is based on the individual's career objectives and interests. The B.Sc. in Design (design) program focuses on the technical components of design, such as garment fabrication, fabrics, fashion illustration, and CAD. This course is perfect for students who wish to get practical experience and a thorough grasp of the fashion production process. It takes a hands-on approach to teaching students the subtleties of designing and producing clothes, fabrics, and other fashion-related items.

Both a B.Sc in Design (Fashion) and a B.Design in Fashion from LPU are great options, but again, it depends on the career goals. B.Design in Fashion is more about the advanced techniques of design, creative thinking, and hands-on skills, which will prepare the student for leadership roles in the fashion industry. This includes topics like fashion illustration, garment construction, and fashion styling. On the other hand, a B.Sc in Design (Fashion) integrates design with technology and science, which provides a broader foundation. If you are inclined towards a more technical or scientific approach to fashion, a B.Sc is ideal. Both progr

    hello reader

Both  in Design (Fashion) and B.Design in Fashion are excellent options at LPU. However, I'd recommend B.Design in Fashion for several reasons:

    1. Comprehensive Curriculum

    • B.Design in Fashion offers a more comprehensive curriculum that covers both theoretical and practical aspects of fashion design.
    • The program includes courses on fashion illustration, textile science, pattern making, and fashion merchandising.

    2. Industry Recognition

    • B.Design in Fashion is a more recognized and respected degree in the fashion industry.
    • The program is designed to meet the industry's requirements, making graduates more employable.

Imagine working in an environment where style and creativity are the focus. If this sounds like your ideal career, you may want to consider earning a degree in fashion design. Fashion design is a highly competitive and exciting industry where only the most talented professionals advance.
My elder sister has done Fashion Designing from LPU itself so there are certain key highlights.Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or UCEED.
