Which course should i opt after MBBS? Is doing fellowship in emergency medicine (MCI-recognized) worth doing or CPS DGO ?
I have completed my mbbs from an indian medical college. I was keen on taking a ms obgy seat but could not make it as did not get good enough rank for it. As i wish not to waste my another year and not to buy a seat,

Emergency Medicine is a new academic discipline in India. It was formally recognized by the Medical Council of India in 2009. MCI has recognized Emergency Medicine as a specialty and has allowed Medical colleges to initiate the creation of Academic departments of emergency.
I strongly suggest as you have mentioned not possible to get the rank in MS so opt for DGO. That has greater potential than any other field including Emergency Medicine.
