While Choosing which programme to join, and to which university you should go, is one of the most important decisions you will make. Before searching for any University, You should compare universities on various parameter like academics, Industrial exposure, placements, infrastructure, On-Campus Facilities & Amenities, Student Activities etc. LPU is one of the best private universities in the country with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty. In Science, you have engineering and medical. These are the traditional streams students choose. Some new streams are also in demand nowadays like bio- tech, nano technology, agriculture and genetic.
Students are also moving in fashion designing and interior designing. Research oriented students can go for KVPY and get into institutes like IISC or IISERs.
There are courses like mechanical / electrical and computer science in engineering to newer ones like hotel management and fashion designing. You can opt for any of these as per your interest.
I hope it helps. If so, kindly upvote this answer. If you have any further questions, kindly re

    Dear Karan,
It is good to know that you are an aspiring entrepreneur. My advice to you is that firstly understand in which sector would you like to do business?
For example, if you are a person who wants to start a hotel, a course in hotel management will equip you with necessary information and experience to understand the working of a hotel. This will help you in being a successful entrepreneur.
So, consult a good career counsellor. Get to know your strong aptitude areas and choose accordingly.
    My best wishes to you!
    Regards,
    Anand Dhillon

Hi as you are not interested to go for Engineering and want to do business in future then BBA would be best bet for you. First and foremost this is a professional course for a good profesional edge. Secondly I would like to mention that BBA would give you a good career kickstart. You can pursue programs like BBA Auto Marketing, BBA Aviation Operations, BBA Digital Marketing, BBA Logistics Managemen,t BBA Oil & Gas Marketing, BBA Retail Management etc. These programs have huge scope in the job market. I would suggest you to go for UPES Dehradoon because UPES BBA placements are good which can be rarely found in any other institute.

Absolutely! Having a humanities background is no barrier to pursuing Fine Arts at Chandigarh University.

The programme welcomes students from all streams, including humanities, as long as they meet the minimum requirement of 50% marks in their 12th exams. Many humanities students find the programme a natural extension of their academic interests, as the curriculum often connects with cultural, historical, and social themes. For example, a student who studied history might bring unique perspectives into courses like painting or applied arts.

The university values creativity and passion over specific subjects studied in school.
