    IIT Madras offers around 100 undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree courses. The courses include BTech, BTech-MTech (Dual Degree), BS-MS (Dual Degree), Integrated MA, MTech, MBA, MSc, MS by Research and PhD. Additionally, IITM has signed MoUs with foreign universities to offer Joint PhD and JDP programme. The institute is also known for its Quality Improvement Programme (QIP), which is sponsored by the AICTE and is the world’s first online BSc programme. IIT Madras has also started for an 8-week free online course on Data Science.
