    LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills.     Dear Gautam, There can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest. No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career.     If you want to go to private companies and software field, so CSE is good for you but if you want to make your career in core field, then electrical is best. According to me nowadays CSE has a better opportunity.

    Both branches have a good scope and it really depends on your skills and you expertise in that field because if you can use your skills well, then you can have a good job.

    Both have opportunities and scope in the coming future. Electrical has got more opportunities in government sector and CSE is good and you will get campus placements easily if you are from a renowned and good institute as compared to electrical.

    If you want better placements with less effort, then you should go for CSE and in the future, it has vast scope due to new emerging technology like AI, machine learning, cyber security and data science.

    I give you a comparison of three branches.
    All the three are having the same scope because all the three departments merged a long time back. Unfortunately, the syllabus committees of our universities are still sleeping. I do not know when they will wake up. ECE & EEE must learn and implement programming in all the 4 years. The same way the CSE must learn to implement Electrical and Electronics all the 4 years. Today 90% of electronic products call for programming. The IoT segment need lots of high end programmers. Except 1st semester, programming is not taught in EEE & ECE.
