There is actually no comparison. CSE being a highly dynamic field needs the curriculum up gradations almost continuously, LPU is only one of the few private universities which has recognised this and developed the process of continuous feedback and consultations with industry to upgrade the syllabi in real time !
LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond the comprehension, extremely qualified and talented ! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post doctorates and 700 PHDs LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with each and every machinery, equipm

Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs

Dear Anita, I did my MBA at LPU and my friend did B.Tech in CSE at LPU. Therefore, I can only share the details of the CSE programme at LPU instead of Jaypee Noida. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main

The demand for computer Science engineers has been strong both in India and overseas. The scope of employment is very good and opportunities exist both in IT and non-IT companies for students of computer Science engineering. Apart from the regular IT jobs, the non-IT Companies also employ these students. Though both the universities mentioned above are good in terms of academics but let me take LPU as an example to explain. Computer Science and Engineering programme is a popular branch among students and offers decent job opportunities after graduation. Students who are interested in programming, software development, computer Science

Being an alumni I would like to say that YES LPU would be the best place for CSE. In LPU, 300+ Campus placement drives with reputed brands used to be held every year for this course. Students are placed in the best brands like MICROSOFT, AMAZON, DIRECTI, INFOSYS, IBM, BOSCH ENGINEERING, HEWLETT PACKARD, VMWARE SOFTWARE, CAPGEMINI, TECH MAHINDRA, COGNIZANT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, ADOBE SYSTEMS INDIA, TCS, ITC INFOTECH, HCL TECHNOLOGY etc. In terms of placement in 2020, it was really tough for all to proceed further. Its tough for a University who wants to promote its student to get excellent placement. Its tough for the companies also to

I am not quite aware of CSE in Jaypee, Noida but as per my experience, one must go for Computer Science and Engineering as it has been one of the most lucrative and competitive course to study since its inception in Indian engineering colleges. I would like to recommend those who have valid and eligible JEE Main scores then they could go for Lovely Professional University that offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the points why one must consider B.Tech from LPU.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank. The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who s
