I would vote for Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) as it is one of India's oldest and the finest educational institute, it is a pioneer in engineering education, research and innovation. LPU has well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities that have left many NITs far behind. The curriculum taught here is of international standard. One gets to learn from foreign and industry experts. There are provisions of international credits in some programs where a student gets an opportunity to go abroad to study. Highlights of B Tech courses, -

Brands like Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, NVIDIA, Samsung, Accenture, WIPRO, Infosys, Amazon, and Yahoo come here for the placement. I'll recommend Thapar University.

LPU is inferior to the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology in my view. The institutes staff and professors are a top-notch bunch with a lot of knowledge in their specialised disciplines. They have routinely placed students above 95% for the previous years.
