Dear Aashish, Both LPU and Thapar are good universities and doing well on their own. Being alumni of LPU, I am sharing the details of the B.Tech programme with you. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package available for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU prov...more

In my opinion, LPU is lower to the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. The instructors and staff at the institute are a first-rate group with a wealth of expertise in their respective fields. For the past six years, they have consistently placed students above 90%. The highest placing package for 2020 was 43 Lacs.
Additionally, TI provides 14 crores worth of scholarships. -
Hello, How do you compare universities? Here are some criteria:
Curriculum: The curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback from the industry. Since IT/CSE is a highly dynamic field, you can't afford a programme that is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now high tech-driven; the tech programme must have the exposure and training. The world-leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc. Are a must for any professional to succeed in a career. Industry interface: Ultimately, it's the industry that will immerse the students...more -

When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. Both are good academic institute but when it comes to Engineering programmes, LPU is the best option. I have never visited any place but on the basis of feedback of Alumni I want to highlight few points:
