Whatever specialisation you take, there is going to be a common subject in your first year. The level of difficulty will be different from individual to individual. May be, law is very easy for me, PMS is very easy for me but same may not be in your case. Irrespective of specialisation you chose, you need to give equal number of assignments, project and time. So, first check what is your aptitude and interest, your own capability, career dimension and then choose your specialisation. As far as the scope is concerned, scope in terms of what?

Irrespective of the specialization, you can opt for marketing or HRM. In terms of difficulty, it is dependent on individual to individual. According to me, HRM would be a bit tougher as subjects like labour laws, psychology influenced subjects are taught.
Whereas, marketing can be managed, if you start connecting the concepts taught to current happenings across the world, field assignments given also helps in understanding the practical scenario in a better manner.

In my view, marketing is a bit tougher as compared to HR, as former needs more of your analytical and reasoning skills and rapid changes in current market scenario making it tougher. On the other hand HR issues and problems are more of traditional kind and fixed tools and techniques are known. So, I personally feel marketing bit challenging as compared to HR.

MBA in Marketing is generally a 2-year programme that prepares you for careers in marketing. Some career options include marketing manager, brand manager, sales manager, and digital marketing manager. Pursuing an MBA in marketing is one way to develop your marketing skills and understand consumer behavior whereas the core responsibilities of an HR include dealing with business functions pertaining to employees. To pursue a career in HR, one can either opt for MBA with Human Resources as a specialisation or pursue a Master's, Certificate degree or Diploma course in HR. Dear Sachin, Both HR and Marketing are best and have a good scope in career. I have done a dual specialisation MBA in HR and Marketing at LPU. At LPU, you can do 2 specializations together. Being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for an MBA degree based on the following things-
The Business School of LPU is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry-experienced faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. LPU is ranked No. 2 among Indian B-Schools in 'Outreach and Inclusivity by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, G

Hi, People with a degree in MBA are experts in administering business tactics and knowledge to get better results and productivity from the inside of an organisation. In their core working, however, both the streams are way different from each other. While HR interacts with the internal elements and workings of an organisation by managing the needs of the human resource and making sure that everyone goals are aligned with those of the organisation. By hiring, staffing, training, performance evolution, dispute resolutions, salary negotiations, and performing paperwork formalities, the HR basically keeps the business running. Marketing i

HR in my personal opinion doesn't provide more job opportunities compared to Marketing and Finance. You can get jobs in the placement cell or the recruitment cells of the companies. Finance is definitely a good option if you are better with your accounts and numbers. This also has better job prospects.

It depends on your interest level in the above-mentioned fields of MBA.
Both of the fields provide immense opportunities and pay level is also very nice.
In comparison, marketing is a more of a field-oriented job where one has to work in the market and collect on-ground information.
HR is more kind of an office oriented job where one will have to manage organisation's workforce.
