LPU is a clearly better choice as it has excelled in all the following parameters: 1. Infrastructure 2. Curriculum 3. Faculty 4. Diversity 5. Rankings 6. Centre for Excellence 7. Placements It is important to mention that the companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL etc. It is important to mention that last year Microsoft recruited student at INR 42 lacs per annum. LPU in any case better than the other. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Hello, Engineering at LPU is a complete and perfect blend of learning and fun. I remember my days of engineering at LPU, how I use to rush for 9 am class and spend hours on my assignments. Engineering is a blend and balance of book learning and practical learning. LPU creates the content in such a way that learning becomes easier for the students. Faculties are so experienced that they are able to sense how much we have grabbed in his class. University provides all the resources and techniques to make learning easier and also at the same time prepare the students keep to cope up with the corporate world.LPU provides you with all the facilities required to be a good engineer. I had a splendid experience with the faculties, placement mentor and officers.I will share few of the major points to help you to get a clear picture of LPU.Infrastructure: University has well equipped labs with all the latest technologies for learning and development. Double Storey Central Library, equipped with computer labs and all the required books and curiculam , open for students till mid night 12 . Not just this all the facilities in university is worth appreciating.Faculty: Teachers were qualified. They have a good knowledge of the courses they teach. They are very helpful and supportive.Placements: In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple package as well. The highest package was around 42 Lacs per annum. All the students were trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not.Most students who do not have backlogs or reappears gets placed. Students who were not so good in academics, they were enrolled in more PEP classes to help them in placements.Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Google, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Snap deal, Vodafone, Airtel, LG, HCL and many more. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 5.30 L pa to 30 L pa based on the individual skill. Recently LPU student Tanya Arora bagged a placement of 42 lacs pa from Microsoft.LPU becomes first private university in India to host the Honorable PM, Shri Narendra Modi during The Indian Science Congress. Dear Asif, it is very difficult situation for you to decide. Every university is doing good for his students for their best career. There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course.
