Which is best: LPU or BITS, Mesra?

Hi Bhavya, I have observed very less about BITS Mesra but still I know enough of BITS, Mesra. My conclusion is that LPU is a step ahead. Both are private institutions and both are putting a lot of efforts but LPU is really a step ahead because of the following reasons: 1. Curriculum, 2. Highly Qualified faculty members, 3. Industrial tie-ups, 4. Technology and Exposure, 5. Diversity, 6. Support to Entrepreneurs, 7. Good Placements.Compare yourself and take wise decision.

LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Hi Bhavya Santhoshi LPU is amongst few top Universities having best infrastructure, unbeatable placement record, industry oriented curriculum, experienced faculty and international exposure. LPU will be a good choice. Good Luck!

Hi Bhavya, Being an education consultant I usually do analysis that which institution is better for which course. Although I have observed very less about BITS mesra but still I know enough of BITS, mesra. My conclusion is that LPU is step ahead. BIT Mesra is a deemed university under section 3 of the UGC Act. It offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. BIT has extension centres in Lalpur, Noida, Jaipur, Patna as well as Deoghar. The placements have been consistent and the campus life is full of fun as well as learning.

Both organisations which you have mentioned are also offering many courses under its roof but I would suggest you to check the following before finalising the institute. 1. Rankings 2. Faculty 3. Pedagogy used 4. International exposure 5. Tech-savvy last but not the least Placements LPU being in education since last 18 years has fetched many rankings to its credit as compared to any other institute. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. If you consider placements, LPU outperforms in that as well by assisting the student to get the highest package by making the student prepare for the placements. I tell you a girl named Tanya got placed in Microsoft at 42LPA and many more students got hefty packages which I doubt students have cracked at the other mentioned institute. As I mentioned there is no comparison but if you still want my opinion, LPU is the right option.

BITS, Mesra is the best because it is well known college and it is very good college than LPU.

Both the above institutes are fine as I have completed my post graduation from LPU and I believe that LPU is one of the best universities among all the B schools as well as other ranked universities. I will share certain facts which would justify the same. 1. Accreditation: As LPU got accreditation from Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs, USA (ACBSP). Not only LPU is highly accredited but also it is having numerous international tie ups for instance university of North Alabama, Livingstone College etc. 2. Size: LPU is spread over 600 acres campus consisting of 3000+students and 3500+ faculty members and staff. Students are taking the admissions not from all over India but across the borders as well which make me feel that I am in a foreign land. 3. Ranking: LPU has following ranking: 1. Impact rankings 2021 2. National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds 3. Outlook has ranked LPU as 5th among top 50 universities 4. Knowledge Review rated LPU as 10 th among Best training and Placement Institute 4. Infrastructure: LPU in itself a town as all the amenities a student could found at one place there is no need to move out of the campus. From Central Library to Hospital, Bank, ATMs, JIM facility, swimming pool. A student could enjoy his or her life in the best way. 5. Placements: LPU is having outstanding Placements record for the students. As every year not only national companies but also international ones are also hiring the LPU students for instance Amazon offers 30 Lacs package per annum. The Corporates which have visited the campus are Microsoft, Amazon, DBS Bank etc. 6. Faculty: LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. 7.
