One such confusion comes between choosing BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) or B.SC (Computer Science). We have listed some of the difference in these courses to help you reach a decision.
    B.Sc (Computer Science)
The B.Sc (CS) course mainly focuses on the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing, rather than teaching specific technologies that may quickly become outdated. The course prepares you for higher education.
Eligibility: It is more of an academic course and admission to most universities is based on your performance at the HSC level. Having physics, chemistry and maths is essential to apply for this course.

If you want your career in IT with some application development than you can select BCA. But, if you want to do something extra than, you can go for B.Sc computer science. Computer science is a very big field. It contain IT itself.

BCA may restrict you for only application development, database and web development, while with B.Sc you can do some extra ordinary things.

B.Tech is a better option as compared to the B.Sc. Course. B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) is a technical professional degree (engineering) that has good career prospects. The B.Tech course is completed in 4 years as against B.Sc. (graduation degree in Science) which is a 3-year course. My cousin also did B.Tech in CSE based on my recommendation at LPU and got placed in an MNC with a good salary package, LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. On the basis of placement and infrastructure, LPU is best for engineering.
    1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Pu

B.Sc. Computer Science is more concept-oriented while BCA is application-oriented. BCA course will teach you about current technologies and applications, and gives you a basic idea of currently used programming languages. But BCA course will not provide you with an in-depth conceptual understanding. B.Sc. Computer Science is more concept-oriented. This course will not give much importance to current technologies and applications. Candidates who studied Arts, Commerce or Science can join for BCA since it is application-oriented. But in order to study B.Sc. Computer Science, an intermediate Certificate with mathematics is mandatory. You

B.Sc. COMPUTER Science is more like a theory type of syllabus and they have Physics and more mathematics than BCA. But if you are opting for a career in coding its best you take BCA because its more practical and you can concentrate on the coding language sides.
