    The Doctorate of Pharmacy is a professional degree that lasts six years. The first five years are devoted to theoretical education, followed by a year of internship. The key distinction between this degree and a B.Pharm is that Pharm. B Pharm is a four-year full-time degree programme that exposes students to both practical and academic areas of pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution. 

    If candidates are a student who wants to work as a chemist in large hospitals and Healthcare centres, whether in their home country or abroad, a Pharm. D. programme is for them. After earning their Pharm D, they can pursue a PhD.
