Dear Aspirant, Both LPU and IIBS Bangalore are good private institutes for higher studies. Coming to the MBA/PGDBM programme, I am not sure about IIBA Bangalore for MBA or PGDBM but being alumni of LPU I would be sharing details of an MBA programme at LPU and will highlight the points that will help you why MBA is good there. It is worth paying the fee of an MBA at LPU. LPU offers scholarships as well
The Business School of LPU is accredited by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, USA
Placement: The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year,

Hey, for LPU NEST counselling, you'll need to carry these docs to make things smooth—LPU keeps it straightforward so you can focus on joining their awesome campus life.
Class 10th marksheet and certificate for basic ID and birth proof. Class 12th marksheet and certificate to verify your scores. LPUNEST admit card and scorecard, super important for eligibility. A recent passport-size photo, your Aadhaar or any valid photo ID, and category certificate if you're applying under reserved quota. If needed, graduation marksheet for specific programs.

Hey, so from what I've checked on LPU's official site, the NEST counselling is mainly done online, which is super convenient for us students anywhere in India. You just log in after your results, pick your preferred courses and seats based on your rank, and lock it all in digitally—no need to travel right away.
It's got this smooth flow: download your scorecard, fill choices online, get seat allotment via merit, pay the initial fee (like INR20,000) through net banking or UPI, then submit docs later. LPU makes it flexible too, letting you pay offline at campus if you prefer, but the core process stays online for quick access.

Yeah, LPU totally releases the LPU NEST counselling dates on their official site—it's super organized and student-friendly. For 2026, they've got it starting February 8th onwards for B.Tech, with online seat preferences from Feb 8-10, results on 12th, and admissions up to late Feb. Results drop quick, like within 24-48 hours post-exam, so you can jump right into counselling without waiting forever.
It's all online mostly, through nest.lpu.in, where you update choices and get allotments based on your score—makes it easy from anywhere. No offline hassle unless you want campus visits for fees. LPU keeps everything updated live, way

Yes, it is actually very much required to bring along Class 10 and 12 certificates or at least mark sheets during the LPU NEST counseling, primarily because the university explicitly would wish to establish the age of applicants from the Class 10 marksheet and verify eligibility with the Class 12 certificate/marksheet before confirming admission and awarding a scholarship.

at LPU NEST counselling, you would have to check the result & rank, fill and lock online course/seat preferences, get the allotment of the seat based on the rank and choices, pay to secure the seat by paying the initial fee, and go on to upload/verify documents and pay the remaining fee within the stipulated time for final admission.
