Hi there, Well, being an alumni as well as an existing scholar at LPU, I would like to answer your query. I have pursued Masters degree from Lovely Professional University and now I am pursuing Ph.D. Mathematics from the same. It is an overwhelming feeling to express my views on my University. If you want to explore, learn, grow and want to get placed in good companies then I must say please go ahead and take admission. Lovely Professional University is a private university situated in Phagwara, Punjab, India. Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students, over 4000 faculty members and staff, offering more than 200 programs. LPU is not only the largest university of the country but also the university with the most diverse student population. Learning in LPU will make you a truly global citizen. Infrastructure: The University is spread over 600 acres which provides each and every facility to their students inside the campus. Well, considering education, well-equipped labs are designed with the experienced faculty and the lab assistants that make you excel in the study. The faculty members are the student-friendly that you won't regret study in the university. But let me buzz you that we have more than 13,000 CCTV installed in the campus so be careful on your moves. Placements: LPU has excelled in the placement records as students are trained with the professional enhancement programme classes, where they teach and educate you about the interview skills and etiquettes. Campus Life: At the end of a tiring day or week, everyone expects entertainment and refreshing ways to uplift their daily boring schedule. But here in LPU, they conduct so many big events where they call popular celebrities and help their students to feel more alive and energetic, which make the life in LPU more of fun. I will share something which I experienced before getting admission in LPU. When I was about to complete my schooling, we (my family) started looking for a good college for myself. This is when one of my family friend told us about Lovely Professional University. Both of their children had graduated from LPU and they had some great things to say about the university. This is when we decided to visit the campus. We had a talk with the staff and faculty to know more about the university. In addition to this, we also had a talk with the students of the university. Here is a list of factors on which we reviewed LPU to decide whether we should go for it or not. The current students of LPU told us that the faculty is very friendly and considerate. Apart from helping the student academically, the highly-experienced faculty works towards the all-round development of the student at LPU. We got to know that the students at LPU get a chance to work in Fortune 500 Companies. They get a chance to work with Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and many other international companies. LPU has also recorded the highest number of placements in the past years with more and more students getting the chance to work in the top companies of the world. Infrastructure: Another great thing we got to know about LPU was its infrastructure which is actually as good as it is advertised. It offers students the kind of campus life with facilities you won't find in many colleges. From departmental stores to coffee shops, LPU offers an entirely different campus life experience. It has a full fledged mall inside the campus. Another good thing about this university, LPU has food stalls that provide different cuisines, and the south Indian delicacies are really good. For its international students, it offers cuisines, such as African, Bhutanese, etc. Multicultural events: Diversity is something I always appreciate. LPU, to make its national and international students feel at home, organizes events where students give performances related to their culture or organize food stalls of the cuisines of their respective states and countries. LPU recently organized events called One India and One World so as to sensitize the students of LPU about different cultures. LPU takes care of its international students: This one is something I learnt from my sister. LPU helps international students with their visa application and on-boarding process and other pre and post arrival.

Being alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would say that it is a Lovely Professional University which every students are looking for. Be it studies, hangout places, infrastructure or extracurricular activities, this university has it all. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Placements-The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. I'm alumni of lpu and from my experience, I can say lpu is the best, it has the best infrastructure and professional faculty is there who are always there for students. They conduct a series of test in each semester consisting of CAs (continuous assessment), mid-term and end-term which helps in evaluating the students performing in the right way. This university is best for the student who really wants to learn and grow in their respected fields.

Hi Dear, Actually, it is worthless to compare both the Universities. LPU is miles ahead of CU. They are very newer to the Education Providers lobby. Whereas LPU has experience of almost two decades. CU has grown up rapidly with the passage of time and they are even putting in enough effort. But they really need to review, are their efforts are enough to nurture the future of their students. Now here is the difference between CU and LPU! CU is an excellent business model, more the students more are the more profit. So if you are a parent and your child is in +2, someday, you will receive a call saying Sir, only one seat is left in computer Science and if you come in the next 15 minutes, you will get one. You would believe that only one seat is left and I should hurry up now (This is how their calling cell manipulates the parents). In actuality, there is no check over how many fixed seats do their branches have and no government body ever inspects this. CU is not all up to the mark at the Curriculum when they are in comparison with LPU. CU is far behind the Think Big vision of LPU. They are not offering LIVE PROJECTS to their students which is the backbone of the MBA programme. They do not have good Industrial Tie-ups University is far away from State-National Highways. Actually, University is surrounded by villages and farming lands. You will hardly find any restaurants or hotels or any shopping outlet in that area. The area is Gharuan (25 km away from Chandigarh). Many people believe it to be a government university due to the Chandigarh word but it is not a government university. On the other Hand, Getting admission in MBA at Mittal School Of Business, LPU is not an easy achievement for any candidate because of their quality admission intake. If I am not wrong, LPU has maintained such standards of quality admission intake and has very stringent eligibility criteria also. But if you get admission in MSB, LPU after satisfying their eligibility criteria, you will fly high, sky will be the limit because from day 1 LPU acts like their Tag Line Think Big and Slogan Transforming Education, Transforming India. Being an alumni I would like to answer this. I want to say that LPU is doing phenomenal work for the upliftment of the students and that could be justified through following: Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technologys Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculties are highly qualified, most of the faculties have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc.) Some of the OTHER MAIN POINTS: faculties, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. 1.LPU got the highest ranking according to Impact Ranking 2021 2.LPU is ranked No 2 among the Indian B schools in Outreach and Inclusivity by NIRF. 3.Scholarships provide an opportunity for the students to earn an education. Diversity: The University with the most diverse student population. Students from all across the world live in the hostel, which comes the closest to being 'a home away from home'. Rating, education, placement, epoch and infrastructure in each item LPU is better.</span></p><p><span lang="EN-IN">Ranking: If I speak an approximate score then LPU is below top one hundred between all personal and authorities&rsquo; university. What shook me this year at the maximum is the rating current bias to span the worlds college rating again between all authorities and personal University.</span></p><p><span lang="EN-IN">Placements:&nbsp; maximum crucial thing that the applicant at the university/technical college even during can see entering. So, in a lovely professional university of 100 students 90-95 students get a place. Especially at B.Tech, the best sales package was converted to 64lac consistent with year. In control was 21lacs consistent with year.
