Dear Aspirant, Both B.J. M. C. Banasthali Vidyapith or LPU are good private universities. I am also an alumnus of LPU and will share the details of LPU with you. LPU is one of the best places in India for Multimedia, Graphics, and Gaming. The curriculum emphasis on sound theoretical grounding in principles and process of game art and design with extensive practical works, it enable proficiency in students to handle and deliver industry standard projects/output. The faculty members are from the industry like red chilies Studios, Prime focus studios and they have experience of more than 15 years. LPU offers two varieties of courses under gaming section:- (1) B.Sc. Design which is for 3 years where the eligibility is: Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or UCEED. (2) B. Design which is for 4 years, where the eligibility is: Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or UCEED. The multimedia department has a separate block and has well-equipped labs with dell workstations to handle high-end software like adobe after effects, Unity Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Nuke, Fusion, Z brush, photoshop, etc. Even the department has good quality of resources like Black magic cinemas cameras, canon cameras, trolly, jib, and well-equipped special VFX studio with permanent Chroma backgrounds. Do they have Adequate/appropriate equipment to make you expert in handling them? 3. Do they have Audio/Video studio to teach them practically. 4. Are they running any Media house? 5. Do they provide the platform to you for doing practices? 6. Do they have such atmosphere where you can have an experience to perform practically? 7. Do they have Industrial Tie-ups? 8. Do they provide Teachings from external experts? LPU is preferred because it provides all above mentioned salient features. LPU is produces smart and Intelligent journalists. Not only journalists you can find LPU journalism students at various sectors of Media and Entertainment. For e. g. : I know one LPU Student who got placed as a Celebrity Manager in T-series. The well qualified doctorate faculty and many industry experts make a great faculty combination at LPU. LPU has Adequate/appropriate equipment which they use on regular basis for making their children well trained even practically. A separate Professional Audio and Large size Video Studio.
