It all depends upon the prospect of university/college that you are looking forward to like the curriculum and study, recruitment and placement rate and campus infrastructure and life. From an LPU student's point of view, Chandigarh University is generally considered better than Chitkara University for B.Tech CSE because CU has a larger campus, stronger brand visibility, more aggressive placement drives, and a higher number of recruiters visiting every year, which increases opportunities (though averages are often inflated and depend heavily on student skills). Chitkara University, on the other hand, is more disciplined academically, has comparatively stricter rules, decent faculty, and respectable placements, but fewer mass recruiters and slightly less exposure than CU. In short, CU is better for exposure, networking, and placement chances, while Chitkara is decent but more limited, and in both cases, like at LPU, your skills matter far more than the college name.

Both chitkara and CU are good, however, being LPU alumni, and pass out student of CSE department, I can give better information regarding LPU. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. 1 Placements :Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. During the placement year, 2020-2021 Cloud ERA has offered 31 Lacs Per annum (CSE) in 2019-2020, CODE NATION has offered 31 LPA.
