Which is better for future among B.Sc in physics and B.Sc in agriculture?

B.Sc. Physics is an undergraduate course in the field of Science. Higher education after B.Sc. Physics increases the chances to get in to a high designation job with handsome packages. Agricultural domains are: Agricultural Engineering Agriculture Marketing Banking & Cooperation Dairy Technology Fisheries Science Food Science & Technology.

B.Sc. Physics is definitely a better choice. There is much scope in physics as compared to agri. After completing your graduation. You can apply for JAM and can pursue your Masters from any of the IITs. Later on, you may go for research or teaching. But, you must be consistent in studies if you opt foe physics. Afterall Science requires patience. Good luck!

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. B.Sc. Agriculture is better choice to choose because completion will be less in that field. You can get jobs with less. The subject in B.Sc. Agriculture are: Principle of agriculture economics Agriculture finance and co-operation Product economist and farm management Agriculture marketing trade and prices These are the syllabus and subjects in B.Sc. Agriculture. Agriculture is less Competitive field and comparatively opportunities are more considering that we are primarily an agricultural country. A very small percentage of our students opt for an agricultural major, only because they don't realise its potential. One basic advantage that agriculture has over other sectors: other industries might need down-sizing, but feeding the world is a job that isn't ever going to face recession. Most students are well aware of the streams like engineering and medicine, and post-graduate degrees like the MBA. But you may have not given any thought to a B.Sc. In Agriculture. The demand for trained professionals in the field of agriculture is high. The course fee is negligible.

Agriculture graduates. They can be appointed as Research Officer, Quality Assurance Officer, Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Loan Officer (in Banks), Production Manager, Operations Manager and Farm Manager with State agriculture departments. In the private sector agriculture Science graduates may find jobs as managers at plantations, as officers at fertilizer manufacturing firms, agriculture machinery industries, agricultural products marketing firms, food processing units etc. The average starting salary of these officers is generally between 5 to 6 Lacs per annum (Including Incentive). B.Sc in physics would be better option than agriculture. You can even go for Masters after your graduation.
