    VELLORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, VELLORE is way better than Thapar if fee is not an issue. I would recommend you to check the fee structure and placement details.

    I would suggest you to go for VIT Vellore to pursue CSE as VIT has been ranked number 1 private institution for the 4th time in a row by the Government of India.

    Between those two institutes, you have mentioned, I just looked at their reviews and placements, quality of education provided. By taking all those into consideration, VIT is better than Thapar Institute of Engineering And Technology, Patiala.

    From Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala and Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore for CSE. I'll prefer you to opt for VIT, as this is better than Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala in terms of placements, infra and faculty.
