Thapar is a very well known university for engineering and its placement is extremely good. Every year Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Microsoft India, ZS Associates India Pvt Ltd, Make Mytrip.com Hindustan Unilever Ltd. etc. Visits Thapar and hire many good students. Thapar is an elite college of country, and LPU is a marketing gimmick. So according to me you should go for Thapar University.
