Which is better to pursue: Biomedical Engineering or Chemical Engineering? Which is the best university to pursue these?

In my opinion, chemical engineering is better right now. This is because I believe that employers are more reluctant to employ biomedical engineers because the field is still so painfully young in comparison to chemical engineering. For instance, several classmates of mine graduated with biomedical engineering degrees but have had a hard time in the job marketplace because of this factdespite that these engineers are brilliant and that they graduated from an ABET accredited program. Thus with that noted, if you have an interest in materials for drug delivery as an example, I think its a smarter play to begin as a chemical engineer and leverage your way into that topic which I suppose is more biomedical, by nature. I put these things in quotations because by the day Im realizing that the concentrations in engineering are on a grey scale-things are not as black and white as they might seem.
