Which is better to pursue CSE: CU or LPU?

B.Tech [CSE] at Chandigarh University is a vey good idea because in the final year students of CSE land-up with the various opportunities in their door step. Students are having a lot of opportunities in terms of careers like good placements, Entrepreneurship, Research, International exposure and so on. University provides all the resources to the students according to their requirement for their better future. This is the reason the student of Chandigarh University make us proud many times by getting placed in Top MNCs like Microsoft Google Amazon IBM at good packages. If we talk about Research and Patent then let me share few statistics, more than 60+ patents has been filed by the CSE department of this university exclusively and overall combine count is more than this.

Himanshu, LPU is a brand name in the field of education. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. In terms of placement, both are good but LPU is best because it has tie-ups with many high reputation companies like Microsoft, Google, etc. Packages offered to students are also very high in LPU. But if you have some Money Issue, join CU. Chandigarh University is Best for CSE than LPU.

For pursuing BE in CSE, you must go for Chandigarh University, because it provides maximum placement in this field many companies like google, Microsoft any many more visit here. And, CU is the only university in north where the first Microsoft cell is establish by their own.

Dear Himanshu, To the best of my knowledge, both universities are doing well in the education sector. My friend completed M.Tech in CSE programme LPU and placed in an MNC. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors.
