    Hello Sameer Khan,
All the branches are good in Engineering. No one is good or bad depends on your interest ans skill. Mechanical is a evergreen branch in compare to computer science. Both the branches are at present time very good for the career point of views.

Hello Sameer, This is Pavan, A mechanical engineer by domain. No branch in engineering is best or worse. So, the subject matters here Is 'Interest'. So, if you are really interested in Machine design, Manufacturing, Production, quality, etc. Aspects make sure you are to be placed in Mechanical. It all depends upon your interest level. If you are interested in working with languages such as C, Java, etc. And you have no problem in constant learning upon every changes which comes into the market then you should go for CS. Otherwise, not much changes occur in Mechanical Branch. So, it's up to you what you opt for. Chances of placement is more in CS branch. Package will differ from college to college.
