Which is the best branch of engineering in terms of scope, placement and salary?

    Hi,
    All branches streams are best in their own way. Every streams has pros and Con's. So, you better decide your stream on your interest and in which you score better.
    But, in term of good scope you should go with CSE branch.

    Hello Abhijeet.
    Package of a student depends on two factors.
    If you are from top IIT have metallurgy branch then surely you will have a better placement than a student having CS branch in some lower grade college. If you really want the comparison between branches then please select which college you are talking about. Otherwise to me not get clear cut answer. For instance I may say that CS is the best option.

    There are many good branches in engineering but according to the present trend, CSE has better job opportunities than others.

    Well, there can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest. No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. SEE there are enough jobs for every stream, what a company need is quality engineers, SO if you are dead serious for your better future and giving parallel dedication towards it, you will definitely going to succeed.     Well that depends on your interest and knowledge in the particular field. In the current scenario the maximum number of students are opting for Computer Science branch but I believe if you are more interested in the auto industry then you should go for mechanical engineering. Here in my opinion, Lovely professional university is the one which is offering best in both the streams. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students.
