Going by the definition of civil engineering, the subject can be defined as the study, design, development and maintenance of the built environment. LPU is one the best private university which is recognised by UGC, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), ICAR, COA, ACBSP accreditation, Bar Council of India (BCI). Students after successful completion of 2 years at LPU may be given the option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of the programme. The placements are as follows: The maximum package for civil engineering was 19.75 LPA. 86% of the students get placed in civil engineering.
