    Dear student,
I would suggest you Centre for Advanced Media Studies (CAMS) at Punjabi University, Patiala. The fee structure is quite less as compared to other public and private institutions. The department also works on some UGC sponsored projects. The university also provides hostel facility with nominal charges of Rs. 2100 for six months excluding food (with food it is approximately Rs. 2000 per month).

If in Kolkata, then you can give a try to iLEAD. It provides you with B.Sc in Media Science. Its eligibility is class 12th pass with any background and fee is almost INR 5 lakhs for 3 years.
