There are many. Particularly the government colleges. They have experienced faculty members who have very deep research base. With the help of government funding they continuously excel in research and development and keep throwing light on the hidden aspects of civilisation which may help in betterment of our lives. However Chandigarh University also has come up in a big way and is contributing towards the growth of multiple disciplines. Towards this end the effort made by the university is truly praiseworthy. The classic discipline of history is well dealt with at Chandigarh University.
