Which is the best option among Chandigarh University and Chitkara University for CSE?

Hello! I would suggest you to expand your horizon and look for other options. Look for Lovely Professional University. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Google, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Amazon, Adobe, etc. Come for recruitment purpose. Most of the students are placed in good companies with high package. Hi As a resident of Punjab I would vouch for LPU for many reasons. 1. Computer Science is a branch which needs continuous endeavor by the student as well as the faculty as it is the demand of the market. For this you need a college of repute which would give you the best inputs for an all-round development. 2. Added to this, well-equipped nine story library and also a library each in various blocks. 3. Exposure of the students to the world market and a wide platform for the student to deal with the world level activities is a must. In my opinion LPU B.Tech CSE is the best branch going right now for many reasons. 4. LPU offers a complete package of quality teaching, intuitive learning aided with hands on practical training. It also offers good scholarship slabs based on various categories. It has also started the covid scholarship to aid education at such grim times. 5. The updated labs and the expertise of the faculty have given good results that today LPU is a name to reckon. 6. If the talk is about placements, again. LPU has been awarded the National Employ-ability 2020 award for best placements as the top MNCs have recruited the students of LPU for many enviable positions. B.Tech CSE student has bagged a 42 LPA from Microsoft. 7. The number of companies visiting LPU are 700+ which select students for strategic positions, 8. The joint campus placements are with about 900 companies and ample opportunities for full time internships and on-the-Job training in reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini would definitely leave LPU as a good choice. 9. As Im a student of Chitkara, the campus of the university is well maintained and has a great infrastructure whether it be Chitkara Himachal or Chitkara Rajpura. If we talk about Chitkara Rajpura, the institute is highly regarded and recognised for its wonderful performance every year and has also been ranked as best private university in North India. Chitkara mainly focuses on students to get them prepared for a successful future and industry oriented. The institute has achieved numerous milestones since its establishment. The one who enrolls himself/herself in the university can experience the best college life. Amazing crowd, great faculty, welcoming students and many other facilities all are available only at Chitkara University. Both the campuses are unique and best in their own way. To say one is better than the other will not be right as both the instates are run by management that's same, the standards of education and infrastructure and opportunities are also same really high and the best of the best. The University provides great number of opportunities, part from academics students get to experience and participate in cultural programs, NCC parades, NSS activities, dj nights, college fests, and much more.

Chiktara University is counted in one of the NEST private universities in the country. The institute is recognized due to its recognizable achievements since its inception. The University has the record of providing maximum number of placement opportunities to the students with a curriculum where they have both theoretical and practical knowledge. More then hundreds companies visit Chitkara during its placement season, some of the companies that visit the campus are, Microsoft, Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, HDFC, and many other national as well as international companies come to take students with caliber for their good paying job vacancies. The highest salary package offered to the students was approximately in Lacs.

Both Chandigarh University and Chitkara University are good but I have more insights on Chandigarh University CSE Program so as far as I know, CU's CSE programme is ABET accredited which means it is globally recognized. The CSE deparment here offers some cool specializations like AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and IoT, etc.</p><p>The placements of CSE department are really good. The highest international salary offered was Rs. 1.7 crore per year and the highest domestic salary was Rs. 54.75 LPA.</p><p>The CSE deptt. infrastructure is also nice. It has everything you need. There are modern classrooms, a big library, and good hostels.</p><p>&nbsp;The main focus is on preparing you for the future. It's not just about getting a job, but also about growing in your career. You will have many chances to learn and improve.</p><p>&nbsp;The University&nbsp; gives you everything you need to succeed. When working with the institution &amp; chitkara university, it counts how hard you work to achieve your goals. Every resource you need to succeed in any endeavour is available to you in Chitkara, but you must also use it wisely. When participating in internships that the organisation offers, pay attention, put forth a lot of effort, effectively network, and put forth a lot of labour (make your mark and presence felt). Enroll in programmes that are exchange-related. Join extracurricular activities to benefit from these connections. Attend the institution's lectures and events, as well as a lot of reading. Keep in mind that you are laying the groundwork for the future you desire.

Being a student of Chitkara University, I can assure you that if you get placed in a product based company coming to the campus, mind you who are not interested in Mass Recruitment, you can easily bag around 57 LPA. Students from UCA are much more preferred for such companies but not to worry if your skilled and have a good communication based skill set, you can also get in those. I, being not a part of UCA easily managed to get into the first company that came and got placed with an internship following job in the starting of 6th semester. You so you don't have to worry, just keep your head up and try to improve your skillset and comm skills. If you do that UCA or not placement above 6 LPA would be easy for you.
