B.Sc. Agriculture is on the higher side, as of 2018 in India. Ample opportunities and jobs in this sector are being made available to B.Sc Agriculture Graduates. As per my knowledge, There are many Universities which are offering B.Sc. Agriculture course. One things you should keep in your mind before choosing the best University, Ranking, academics, placements, exposure. I will try to answer your question to the best of my knowledge. One of my friend has done B.Sc. Agriculture from Lovely Professional University and right now she is working with VLCC. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the Agriculture students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 5.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. Agriculture is a growing sector in the present times and emerging as a field of opportunities. Agriculture is the right career option for the future of development. Agriculture is one of the most diversified fields than ever before, offering several jobs and self-employment opportunities to agriculture students. This means that there needs to be a rise in the people who are opting for agriculture as a career. CVRU Bihar is the best agriculture college in Patna as the agriculture course in the university covers the traditional forms of agriculture while incorporating newer technologies as well.

Hello! I don't know much about LPU but being an Alumni of Lovely Professional University, I can say that LPU is best private University to purse B.Sc. (Hons)Agriculture. If you are looking for quality education and good placements along with learned faculty work hard on you to get you placed in the best of the companies, then LPU is the place for you to go for. LPUs school of Agriculture has ICAR approval. Students who have passed out from LPU have got jobs in various departments and states. I have two friends who did same course from LPU. LPU has made a good name for itself in a short span of time by working hard for its students in terms of education, faculty, placements, infrastructure, etc. It works for the overall development of its students. Its main aim is to provide students with ample exposure both in the form of theoretical and practical knowledge for which there is much emphasis on workshops, live projects etc. Along with class room teaching. The university has made quality education possible for all by providing good scholarships under different categories. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. The best thing is the Lovely Professional University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot.
