Which is the best textbook to study physics for JEE Mains and Advanced exam?

    Arihant and HC Verma are the best textbooks to study physics for JEE Mains and advanced exam.

    HC Verma is good for numerical, but NCERT of Physics is the most important book.

    I am interpreting that one should have such exposure of problems which is going to save your time in the exam because time is most important factor in the exam hall. You should follow The books of Arihant publication for JEE Mains.
    If interpreted in terms that you need good concepts, you can go through HCV concepts of physics.
    I will suggest that you follow both the books because first one will help you clear the exam only, but the second one will help you with further understanding.

    Series of Cengage books is the best for clearing the concepts as well as exemplary numerical problems along with unsolved questions.

    Hi Aniket.
    For JEE Mains Theory-
    NCERT (must because JEE Main paper is set by CBSE which follows NCERT).
    Concepts of physics by HC Verma.
    For Practice:
    Concepts of physics by HC Verma (it is very recommended for JEE aspirants, it will uproot all your doubts related to that topic once you finish its examples and exercise. ). (Its part-1 is really beautiful specially mechanics. )
    NCERT (additional exercise, you shouldnot neglect it. )
    3. Previous year papers of JEE Main + single correct questions of JEE Advanced. For JEE Advanced. For theory-
    Resnick and Halliday / University physics
    For practice-
    Concepts of physics HC Verma
    DC Pandey / Engage ser

    JEE is one of the toughest entrance exams of engineering which requires students to be academically strong as well as have other skills like analytical skills, time management, exam taking strategy, and situational intelligence.
    Do not skip any topic. Remember that all topics that are mentioned in the JEE syllabus are important.
