I won't say LPU is a best college when compared to other universities. LPU is the first private University in India which is ICAR accredited by ICAR. There are some private colleges in Maharashtra also which you can admission through payment as far I listened they are not up to mark. When coming to faculty in LPU most of the faculty will be Ph.D. candidates they are good at teaching and very helpful for the students. Unlike Government University faculties cannot skip the lectures in LPU. At the end of the semester faculty need to cover the skipped lectures too by conducting extra makeup classes. Research work is not up to mark in LPU,

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
