B.Tech CSE is a highly dynamic programme, It offers the maximum number of employment opportunities. I suggest not to fall for glitzy advertisements for placements, but give a deeper thought to compare your shortlisted colleges. Mainly you must compare on industry interface, technologies being taught, curriculum developed with industry feedback, entrepreneurship and community projects, student diversity, infrastructure, centers for excellence setup by Industry etc. All these factors are the ones which contribute the maximum towards placements. Majorly the regions are different and both are putting great efforts in there academics and enhancing other salient features. Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT, commerce, arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .
