Every year, the JIPMAT exam's three portions have varying degrees of difficulty, which are contingent upon an individual's level of preparation. But out of the three portions, the DILR section is thought to be the hardest based on test-takers' comments and previous year's question papers. When compared to the exam for 2021, the JIPMAT was found to have a moderately higher level of difficulty. By 2023, the JIPMAT was regarded as hard, having significantly increased in difficulty. For admission to reputable Indian institutes, a respectable JIPMAT score often falls between 82 and 85 overall.

The difficulty level of the three sections in the JIPMAT exam varies from year to year, and it depends on the individuals preparation. However, based on the previous years question papers and test taker feedback, the DILR section is considered the toughest among the three sections. DILR section can be challenging because it requires strong analytical and logical reasoning skills to interpret and analyse data and make logical decisions. The questions in this section can be complex and time-consuming, and it requires candidates to have a good understanding of the underlying concepts and the ability to apply them in real-life scenarios.
