All in all CAT and IIFT have got different challenges, challenge need will-power, determination and constant effort to surpass expectation. Both the exams are difficult to crack without preparation. If you are thorough the preparation might be easier for you. CAT is for admission into IIMs, FMS, MDI, JBIMS, SPJIMR, etc. and other top B-schools. But IIFT is only to get admission in India's top foreign trade institute, IIFT, New Delhi.

Both the exams are tough exams to crack. It depends what you mean by cracking exam.
