As per my personal experience, I would suggest you to pursue BBA in hospitality, travel and tourism. This course covers different aspects of running a travel agency including business management, finance and accounting, staffing and marketing and exposes you specifically to the commercial side of the tourism and hospitality industry including tour planning and operations.
UTM, Shillong can be a good option for you to apply as it is one the few universities that provide this course and also provide a great practical exposure alongside. -

4 years agoWell, it is upon you that what type of educational programme you want to do like Diploma or Bachelors. If you have cleared your 12th boards, then I would like to suggest you pursue a 3-year degree course in hotel and tourism management. For better career opportunities, it will be good if you pursue this course from a reputed tourism management college. One such college is Jindal School of Hotel Management (Vadodara). It is one of the best colleges in the city and offers excellent in-campus placements. To know more, visit: https://jshm.co.in/3-year-degree-in-hotel-and-tourism-management. -
