8 years ago24000 in JEE Mains is a good rank. You may get top NITs but you have to compromise with branch (like Chemical, Biotech., Mining, Metallurgy, etc.). But if you are looking for normal NITs then it will be best for you, even you can get CSE in some NITs. Your branch selection depends on you but if you tell me your HS name then it will be more profitable to you. Also, I'll be able to inform you more.

this is the cutoff for last year. assuming general and other statequota you can get newer nits like nit patna, hamirpur, silchar etc. with decent branches like civil, manufacturing otherwise you can get branches like biotech in almost any nit. best of luck -

6 years agoHi Naveen,
Your rank is pretty decent, with this rank you can get core branches like civil, electrical, production in some NITs (like KURUKSHETRA, Hamirpur and those which are ranked below them). If you wish to get CSE then you will get some IIIT or GFTI.
I hope it helps!
Thank you.
