Hi,
NIT-Silchar is best ranked among most of the NITs. So, as per rank and all perspectives be it infra, faculty, staff, environment, communication and much more. Also, the library is also better. And, the campus is also quite bigger. The branches are also quite good and scope. Placements are also much better. So, Silchar is better. Also, you won't get a seat at NIT-Silchar, if you don't have a good rank. So, a person would never think of Agartala if I am able to make a seat in Silchar. -
Both are NITs and the scenario of both the institutes is almost same. You can do good in either of the institutes, it solely depend on yours. But, seeing to your question you might be asking about things like Infrastructure-Labs, Faculty, Placements, Research activities, etc. So, being well funded by the government, the infrastructure, labs, etc., are well-equipped in both the institutes (surf through for the campus facilities, hostels, etc., of each institute).
Both have well built & panoramic nature lush campus. Average placement package and the companies visiting for campus recruitments (both IT & PSU s visit ) goes almost the same (...more
