Which of these is better: B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras or B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kanpur?

IIT-Kanpur is the best since inception, it has offered near 100% Placements for Aerospace students and 20% of them already have PPOs. Moreover, average range for Aerospace goes from 8 to 20 LPA and hence, makes it an attraction for various students. The college offers state of art Faculty plus best Infrastructure to maintain quality education. With IIT madras, the internships provided here are very minimal for this specialisation specifically and The Placements for Aerospace is bit mediocre since, not all students get exact core opportunities in Defense, aeronautical space, hence, does not have edge over IIT madras. Also, average package is lower compared with 5-9 LPA on year in year basis with near 85% Placements on campus. If aerospace is what you aspire, IIT Kanpur would be the best for you in terms of everything. Also, if you happen to be in the top 10% of the students in the batch, you get a chance to do PhD or MS from IVY LEAGUE OF COLLEGES in USA, which might just help you pave your way to NASA, who knows. The faculty in IIT Kanpur is also very supportive and healthy interaction takes place between them and the students promoting free flow of knowledge and trust me, they want you to get the most out of them. But remember, if you are not going for MS or PhD, you might land up in a company like TCS which will be a total waste of your degree which you earned at IIT, as there are not many core companies interested to hire undergraduates.
