Which of these is better: B.Tech in CSE from CGC, Landran or BE in CSE from Chandigarh University (CU)?

Both these colleges have the same trust as Galgotias University so I am comparing both of them on the basis of a few points which will help you to choose the best one 1.Affiliation:- CGC, it is a college which comes under state university (PTU) on the other hand CU is a deemed university Est. in 2012 2.Joint placement programme- the placements of both the colleges happen together. 3.Exposure:- There is more exposure and culture in Chandigarh University as compared to CGC Landran. 4.Advertising- Have you ever come across an ad welcoming you to join CGC? But you must have noticed the television commercials and newspaper advertisement of Chandigarh University. 5.Scholarship:- Chandigarh University has good scholarship programmes in which a student who scored good marks in 12th can get good discounts in fee structure but there is no such policy in CGC Landran. 6.Location:- CGC Landran is located at a better place/location than CU which means it has better transport facilities and market is also approachable. 7.Rules & Regulations:- CGC Landran has strict rules for students and teachers but CU doesn't take care much about the placement.

In my opinion Chandigarh university is one of the best University in the India to provide good education, good placement records, Excellent environment for student and better infrastructure. As we compare CSE in CGC landran and CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY I will always choose Chandigarh University because of these reason: Chandigarh University: The programme focuses on research-based learning and covers a number of topics based on hardware, software, data management and design. The institute has industry-sponsored infrastructure which aids in the best learning experience for students. Subjects included in the course are Mobile Computing, Open Source, and Open Standard as well as emerging technologies like Internet of Things. Most students are placed in the IT sector and are offered jobs for programmers, web developers, E-commerce specialists, etc. The top recruiters at the university include Google, NEC Corporation, SAIC, IBM, ASUSTEK Computer Inc, etc. The highest package offered was INR 30 Lacs per annum with an average salary of INR 5 Lacs per annum. Academics: (Winning Institution - CU) CGC Landran an outdated syllabus. But CU, being a university, has modified its syllabus according to the industry standards. GCC training and placement department is very well organized and provides efficient training to cope up with the outdated syllabus. There are efficient faculty members for the latest technologies and computer languages such as Python, Java, PHP, Embedded Systems, etc. And they make the placement preparation smooth as well. Infrastructure: (Winning Institution - CU) In terms of campus infrastructure, CU is much better than CGC Landran. Large playgrounds, huge buildings, gardens and lawns, long roads, etc. Enhances the beauty of the campus. A clean and green overall campus all-around is found in CU. The hostels and their mess are also quite decent. Most hostels are centrally cooled with all modern amenities. Classrooms in the academic block are also clean and have all the necessary types of equipment. On the other hand, CGC Landran has a small campus. The hostels and food are also not as good as CU. The overall campus life of CGC Landran is nowhere close, compared to CU in terms of facilities, availability, and food. The hostel management of CU is quite strict and conducts a lot of checking, whereas CGC hostels are somewhat lenient as compared to CU.

Actually, let me clear your doubt about the same and I know that CGC Landran and Chandigarh University are the two institutions with the same parent. Yes, you heard me right. Both are subsidiary of single parent means that there are different faculty and Infrastructure but as far as placements are concerned, both campuses have the same type of campus placement. Same company visits the campuses for different batches. -With over 1000 placement drives CGC had offered placement for not only the students but also students from different college and university also -Chandigarh University is a newly made university as compared to CGC which is a very old institution. -As far as placement are concerned they happen around the same time in both the campuses. -Faculty are concerned. Chandigarh University have better faculty then CGC because they are being paid more than CGC. -B.Tech in CSE will be better from both the campus because infrastructure of the both are good. -Research labs are there. Placement are also good, the only difference would be if you opt for CGC, your B.Tech degree will be from PTU Punjab Technical University whereas Chandigarh University is a university. So, it only matters about the exam pattern, Results, Mark sheet and degree are quicker in Chandigarh University as compared To CGC. The average salary of CSE graduate from both the campus id 3 lakh per annum with higher package being 8 lakh in the year 2017.
