If you compare on the basis of placements of CSE, then IITD somehow outperformance IITK. Here is quick comparison between two. IIT Delhi

Both the IITs are good but in my opinion, IIT Delhi is better for B.Tech in CSE than IIT Kanpur because IIT Delhi provides good infrastructure, good course curriculum, good CSE faculty members and good computer labs also.

According to the National Institution Ranking Framework, IIT Delhi ranks 4th among all engineering colleges in India and has seen great global rankings according to Nasscom.
Computer science engineering at IIT, Delhi has great ROI. 100 percent placements recorded year on year for CSE.
1) Total offers made are 223
2) Average package: Rs 11 lakhs per annum
3) Median Package: Rs 15 lakhs per annum
4) Highest Package: Rs 95 lakhs per annum by Facebook.
