Both IT and Food Technology at LPU have good placement opportunities, but in terms of overall industry demand, IT tends to have a higher number of job offers and salary packages. Many big companies in tech, like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, visit LPU's campus for placements. On the other hand, Food Technology also has opportunities, especially in food processing industries, research labs, and quality control, but the number of placements might be a bit lower compared to IT.

If you're looking for a broader range of job options, IT might be a better choice for higher placement chances. However, if you're passionate about food and its science,

Good luck.
