Which one is better among LPU and Amity for electrical engineering?

Ankush, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, IBSs, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Dear Ankush, Both LPU and Amity are good for electrical engineering. My friend did B.Tech and M.Tech in EE at LPU and now working as a Junior Engineer in PSPCL. Both the universities are good. The B Tech EEE programme has been designed very keenly keeping in view the global industrial needs in electronics. The LPU equips the students to meet the market challenges and successfully tackle them. LPU offers an Engineering programme that seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through labs and projects for building problem-solving skills, and keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like Electronics, Electrical Machines. Over 350 offers were generated by 500 fortune companies. The highest salary was Rs 31 Lacs per annum while the average salary was Rs 4.8 LPA. A student got the highest stipend worth Rs 32000. According to my opinion, both of them are fine in their own terms but being an alumni I would like to throw some light on LPU's electric engineering. LPU always revise its curriculum for all its courses so that the students should be updated according to the latest developments. The faculty members over here are all from all the reputed organizations. Moreover they are either PhD's or pursuing the same. Some of the key highlights of the programme are as follows: a) Different specialisation: LPU provides different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. B) Industry Exposure and Practical Experience :MOOCs, Hackothons, Guest lectures, Incubation Projects Workshops, Conferences are the significant part of the curriculum. C) Credit Transfer: There is a wonderful opportunity for the students that is credit transfer where the students could get an industry exposure while studying abroad partially. D) Superb Ambience and Infrastructure : LPU is city in itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything to anywhere. Well if you ask me I would say there is no point comparing because both LPU and Amity University has their own story of glory and limitations. On one side where Amity University is famous for many branches. LPU is a younger a shining star in the ranking of Best Private University of India. Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing the highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. A new name as compared to others in the competition but a promising and a progressive university. Both the university have : The Lush Green, Pollution-Free Campus. Wide Range of Courses. Infrastructural Delight. Good Placements. Cultural &amp; Extracurricular Activities. Word-of-Mouth. However I would say in LPU there is immense amount of exposure as well as academic-industry interactions happening throughout the year. LPU believes in overall grooming. The university also maintain a serene teacher student ration along with it the university pertains a thorough mentorship model that builds a stronger and effective working model. LPU has a planned and a well structured curriculum of ECE in collaboration with Cadence, Texas Instruments, BOSCH, PEGA USA &amp; Intel, and is designed in lieu with the industry needs. LPU's curriculum also imbibes rigorous training and internships along with live projects to make their scholars a ready fit for the industry. The efforts put in this direction makes all the students place-able and earns record placement each year. LPU is best in regards to curriculum, pedagogy, placements and industrial exposure. LPU has set new bench marks in Placements which is one of the most promising part of a good university today. Even in this Pandemic phase more than 7000 placements are done in the last academic session. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.
