In my view, Vellore Institute of Technology is the best option among all three but in that too only main campus (Vellore campus) is quite good not others.

VIT, Vellore is the Best among all there. It is top private University in India. One of the best. If we Rank this three
    1. VIT, Vellore
    2. SRM, Chennai
    3. LPU, Punjab.
VIT has mainly 2 campus and 2 under construction. Best Campus is of Vellore I.e. main campus. then Chennai Campus. SRM's Main Campus is Best I.e. SRM, Kattankulathur, also it has 3 campus in Chennai. and other at NCR, Gangtok. Choose Wisely.
    Good luck.

When choosing between VIT, SRM, and LPU for B.Tech, all three are well-known and offer good academics, but the experience and exposure can feel quite different. VIT and SRM are often praised for their structured academics and brand value, especially in South India, but LPU stands out when it comes to overall student life, flexibility, and hands-on opportunities. What really works in LPU's favor is its massive campus, modern labs, strong industry tie-ups, and a system that encourages students to explore beyond just classrooms through projects, hackathons, internships, and skill-based certifications. The placement ecosystem at LPU

For B.Tech at LPU, most students feel Computer Science and Engineering is the better option mainly because of wider industry demand and more placement opportunities. CSE has multiple specializations like AI, data science, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, along with better exposure through labs, projects, hackathons, and internships. That said, branches like ECE, mechanical, or civil can also be good if you're genuinely interested, since infrastructure and faculty support are there. In the end, the best choice depends on your interest and how much effort you're ready to put in, because LPU gives opportunities, but results come from h
