Which one is better for CSE among IEM-Kolkata and LPU?

Hi, I would choose LPU which tends to change instruction through scholastic meticulousness; pragmatic direction and result-based education. LPU is a brand name today for its engineering courses. 1. Computer Science is a branch which needs continuous endeavor by the student as well as the faculty as it is the demand of the market. For this you need a college of repute which would give you the best inputs for an all-round development. 2. Added to this, well-equipped nine story library and also a library each in various blocks. 3. Exposure of the students to the world market and a wide platform for the student to deal with the world level activities is a must. In my opinion LPU B.Tech CSE is the best branch going right now for many reasons. 4. LPU offers a complete package of quality teaching, intuitive learning aided with hands on practical training. It also offers good scholarship slabs based on various categories. It has also started the covid scholarship to aid education at such grim times. 5. The updated labs and the expertise of the faculty have given good results that today LPU is a name to reckon. 6. If the talk is about placements, again. LPU has been awarded the National Employ-ability 2020 award for best placements as the top MNCs have recruited the students of LPU for many enviable positions. B.Tech CSE student has bagged a 42 LPA from Microsoft. 7. The number of companies visiting LPU are 700+ which select students for strategic positions, 8. The joint campus placements are with about 900 companies and ample opportunities for full time internships and on-the-Job training in reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini would definitely leave LPU as a good choice. 9. NIRF ranking LPU received recently is also quite good: Overall 99 University 78 Engineering 87 Pharmacy 29 Management 49 Seats are filling up fast due to online admissions so be fast to grab your seat. I can recommend Chandigarh University to you. Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, and Flipkart recruited engineering students from Chandigarh University for the term 2021-22. During the campus placements, which included over 240 multinational businesses, a record number of 3750 engineering students were selected. The number of total organizations visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students increased by 30%, while the number of core branch companies that selected fresh talent increased by 70%. Furthermore, in comparison to the previous year, the overall number of offers made to engineering students increased by 60%.

I can give you a good reference for Chandigarh University. Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, and Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in the number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was a jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies that selected the fresh talent. Moreover, the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 300+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while a number of companies offering packages of more than 10 LPA touched 80+ this year. It is notable that the highest package of Rs. 52.11 LPA was offered by TOP Company.

Both institutes are wonderful, however, if you are seeking strong placements and general growth, you should choose LPU. Both the universities are good. I would like to say that LPU is synonymous to B Tech CSE. B Tech CSE is one of the forte of LPU. Being a faculty of LPU I would like to share some details of B Tech CSE department of LPU : Placements are very good at LPU. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The maximum package availed by the student for CSE is 42 LPA. The maximum salary offered was 40 LPA and the average salary was 5.7lpa. PEP Classes-These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Hi. It depends on what you envisioned for your future. IEM Kolkata will be more affordable. But you will not get world-class facilities and exposure as LPU. LPU is better if you come from a sound financial background. The quality of education and exposure in an international institute is obviously much better than a local institute. IEM is a decent institute too. If you want to know more about the institute reach out to the current students or the alumni of the institute. The final decision, however, is on you. I know many people from CSE LPU. Almost every one of them is well settled in India and abroad. The demand for a skilled software engineer is also high in the international market.
