The curriculum for under graduate (UG) and post graduate programs (PG) in ECE has a focus on LiFi, Networking & IoT, Embedded Systems, Advanced coding, Power Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Database Management Systems and its advanced approach. LPU provides an excellent learning environment with the best of expertise from prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs. Some of the feathers in cap of SEEE of LPU are: LPU has state of the art labs maintained by CISCO, Cadence, OPTISIM. The curriculum is revised by industry experts every year and constant improvements are done by the experts to provide in demand content to the students. Students work on live projects undertaken by different departments of the school such as LPUSAT (satellite project), Solar installations, Automation and Robotics, Self Driven solar powered bus and much more. Immadi Anantha Chakravarthi a student of B.Tech ECE got 3rd position in Neural hack conducted by Virtusa, National Level coding competition along with job offer in company which also helped him bag a job offer with BOSCH. Electrical engineering is the design, building and maintenance of electrical control systems, machinery and equipment. Some electrical engineering concerns are also found in mechanical and civil engineering. The term electrical engineering often includes electronics engineering. While electrical engineers mainly focus on large-scale production and distribution of electrical power, electronics engineers are concerned with smaller electronic circuits and often also work with computers and other modern technologies. However, any undergraduate course will include elements of both electrical and electronics engineering. Being an alumni of LPU. I would like to share certain key highlights. Actually my brother had done the same course from the university. Some of the Key highlights: 1)Credit Transfer Student after successful completion of 2 years. At LPU may be given option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. For requisites and other clauses. 2)International Exposure Option Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. For requisites and other clauses. 3)Semester Exchange Student may be given an option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions.
