Which one is more good after B.Sc in hotel management: MBA or Masters? Can you tell me more about job options in both?

You can do either of them as both of them have excellent opportunities. But, there would be a difference in some or the other factors. Master's if you pursue even from the top colleges of the country, your compensation will not be as high as someone who has done his or her MBA from any top college of the country. This is not a gospel truth but this is most likely to happen in most of the cases. Now, with regards to work experience in MBA, believe me having and not having work experience have their own advantages and disadvantages. There is no such hard and fast rule that work-ex guys will get higher salary than freshers. It completely depends on the company as many companies are there who only want freshers. So, it should be your choice as to what you want to do * These career decisions are best taken by you after due deliberation and taking into account all the factors associated with it.

After graduating, you can do MBA in hotel management or hospitality management as well. If you are in the food production department, you can do culinary management or kitchen management. Then there are those traditional specializations like marketing, finance, human resources, product management, operations management, etc. Don't do it right after graduating. You might have heard this advice many times before that you should pursue MBA after a few years of work experience. Yes I will repeat that same advice. Why? Because there is a reason. MBA degree is designed for those students who have some years of work experience, have worked with his/ her colleagues in teamwork and have dealt with various challenges and problems in their workplace. If you have no experience of working in teams in your workplace, then how will you know how to manage that team? Yes, I know that you'll have to do an internship for six months in your final year. But apart from that, you will also have to have a few years of experience in the hotel industry before you join a Business school. Your work experience will add value to your MBA degree. So, after graduation, get a job, work for a few years, say three to five years and gain some experience, then join a good management institution.
